Catholic University and Bucheon Cultural Foundation Collaborate for Cultural Ecosystem Co-evolution
Joint Projects to Promote Local Cultural Development
Catholic University has joined hands with Bucheon Cultural Foundation to co-evolve the cultural ecosystem of Bucheon City.

The Institute of Anthropology at Catholic University announced on the 18th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Arts and Media Convergence and Bucheon Cultural Foundation on the 13th to establish a collaborative system for promoting local culture and arts and enhancing citizens' cultural enjoyment.
This MOU is a public-private cooperation model focused on the development of local culture and the enhancement of citizens' cultural enjoyment. The three institutions are expected to lead the establishment of a sustainable cultural ecosystem in Bucheon City through their collaboration.
The three institutions promised to promote sustainable community development through systematic cooperation, including planning and operating local cultural projects, jointly implementing projects that combine each institution's expertise, and supporting infrastructure development and publicity.

Lee Sang-min, Director of the Institute of Anthropology, said, "By combining the strengths of Bucheon Cultural Foundation, the Institute of Anthropology at Catholic University, and the Department of Arts and Media Convergence, we can activate the local community and strengthen the university's social responsibility through various cultural projects." He added, "We expect this agreement to greatly contribute to the co-evolution of Bucheon-style cultural and artistic ecosystem."
