Lee asked for help from those nearby and moved the collapsed woman outside the train before administering first aid. Considering the possibility of hypoglycemic shock, she elevated the patient’s legs using a bag and padding, attempted to communicate with the patient, and stayed by her side until the paramedics arrived.
After handing the patient over to the paramedics, Lee confirmed that the patient’s blood sugar and blood pressure had returned to normal before leaving. Lee’s good deed was brought to light through a report from the patient’s acquaintance and a post the patient herself made on the hospital bulletin board.
