Promise to Build a Partnership
in Advanced Industries Such as Gaming

On the 6th, Shin Sang-jin, Mayor of Seongnam City, held a meeting with Sami Al-Sadhan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Korea, at City Hall to discuss exchange and cooperation plans for fostering advanced industries between the two countries.

Mayor Shin said, “Seongnam City has a developed game and cultural content industry centered around Pangyo Techno Valley,” and added, “We hope that the two countries will build a partnership (Rafiq) relationship in various fields such as the game industry and create synergy together.”

Ambassador Sami Al-Sadhan responded, “Saudi Arabia has great interest in the game industry as well as AI and ICT industries,” and said, “We hope to establish a progressive relationship in advanced industries between the two countries through cooperation with Seongnam City.” He also added, “I would like to specifically discuss ways to combine Saudi culture with Seongnam’s excellent game industry.”

Seongnam City plans to use this meeting as an opportunity to build a continuous cooperative relationship with Saudi Arabia and to continuously discuss detailed matters for developing cooperation models.
