Medical Social Workers Association and Hope Bridge Join Hands to Strengthen Support for Vulnerable Groups

View original imageThe Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 6th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korean Association of Medical Social Workers (President Kim Hyun-hee) to strengthen support for medically vulnerable groups.
Through this agreement, both organizations plan to promote ▲ the establishment of a medical support system and elimination of blind spots in medical welfare ▲ discovery and implementation of cooperative projects to support medically vulnerable groups ▲ public awareness campaigns and promotions to enhance recognition of medical welfare ▲ strengthening cooperative systems utilizing networks.
President Kim Hyun-hee of the association stated, “It is meaningful to collaborate with Hope Bridge to help disaster-vulnerable groups in need of medical support,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure effective support by leveraging the expertise of both organizations.”

Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, said, “Many people are unable to receive adequate medical services due to economic difficulties,” and added, “Hope Bridge will work with medical social welfare experts to eliminate blind spots in medical welfare and continue to provide faster and more systematic support.”
