Intensive Promotion Through Online Channels Such as YouTube and Instagram
The Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) will conduct a focused public campaign in February to raise awareness about illegal leading rooms and promote a healthy investment culture by eradicating scams related to illegal leading rooms.
On the 6th, the FSS announced that it will carry out a concentrated public campaign in February in collaboration with the Korea Exchange and the National Police Agency to eradicate illegal leading rooms and prevent related damages.
The campaign will utilize various online channels such as Instagram, blogs, and newsletters to promote the eradication of scams involving illegal leading rooms. Promotional content will be broadcast starting from the 7th on the YouTube channels of the FSS, Korea Exchange, and National Police Agency.
Additionally, knowledge lectures and current affairs news related to illegal leading rooms will be released through various promotional channels including webtoons, Instagram, and Newnik.

The FSS emphasized, "Recently, illegal leading room scams have been rampant, taking advantage of difficult economic conditions," and added, "To prevent damage, investors' special caution and active response are urgently needed."
