Hwaseong-si to Hold Jeongwol Daeboreum Festival on the 8th
At the Plaza in Front of Exit 4 of Dongtan Station
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the '2025 Hwaseong Special City Jeongwol Daeboreum Festival' on the 8th at the plaza in front of Exit 4 of Dongtan Station.
The event will feature various traditional performances such as street parades, Jisinbalgi (stepping on the earth god), and tightrope walking, as well as folk game experiences including large-scale Yutnori, Jegichagi, and Tuho. From 7 PM, there will also be a Daljip burning ceremony.
At the venue, a cold wave booth to escape the cold, food trucks providing meals, and various auxiliary facilities such as portable restrooms will be operated to minimize inconvenience for citizens.

Jeong Myeong-geun, mayor of Hwaseong City, said, "We are holding the Daeboreum event for the first time to offer citizens a special experience," and added, "We will create a bigger and brighter Hwaseong Special City together with the citizens."
