The AR program stands for Accelerated Reader Program. It assesses individual English reading comprehension skills through tests on reading and vocabulary abilities, then improves English reading skills by having users read books at their level and complete reading quizzes. The English Library offers this program in the form of courses and special lectures.
In particular, this event was designed to introduce methods to enhance English reading using the AR program and to provide a session where participants could learn the specific usage of the program.
Participants had the opportunity to directly use the AR program available within the library and received personalized book recommendations through testing and reading level diagnosis.
