We Invite 16 Young Entrepreneurs in Culture, Arts, and Tourism... Daegu Jung-gu Provides Startup Support Fund of 12 Million Won
Jung-gu, Daegu (Mayor Ryu Gyu-ha) is recruiting (preliminary) young entrepreneurs for the 2030 Youth Startup Support Center until February 19.
Started in 2011 and now in its 15th year, the 2030 Youth Startup Project aims to support local youth startups to revitalize the downtown commercial district, attract young people, and expand the startup ecosystem.
This year, 16 candidates will be selected, including prospective entrepreneurs with promising startup items or ideas related to Jung-gu's specialized industries such as culture, arts, tourism, and content industries, or early-stage startups within five years of establishment (within three years for residency recruitment).
Selected youths will receive various startup programs such as practical startup education, expert mentoring, networking, and sales channel support events, along with office space and lecture rooms, and up to 12 million KRW in startup support funds (for prototype development, marketing, etc.).
Eligibility requires prospective entrepreneurs under 39 years old residing in Daegu as of the announcement deadline or early-stage startups with business locations in Jung-gu. Applications must be submitted to the 2030 Youth Startup Support Center with the participation application form and related documents. After qualification and document screening, final successful candidates will be decided through a final announcement review in March.
