Applications and Registration Open from the 31st
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 26th that it is recruiting participating universities for the 'Global Talent Employment Leading Universities' and operating institutions for the 'K-Export Warrior Academy.'
The Global Talent Employment Leading Universities program provides customized employment education, internships, and field training for foreign students in Korea to strengthen their employment capabilities in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Ten universities will be selected to operate the program.
The K-Export Warrior Academy is a project that provides job training in export-related fields such as trade practices to foreign students with a high understanding of overseas localities, aiming to cultivate them as export specialists for SMEs and connect them to employment in export SMEs. One operating institution will be selected to conduct education by major regions.
Applications for the Global Talent Employment Leading Universities program can be submitted from the 31st of this month until the 24th of next month, and applications for the K-Export Warrior Academy can be submitted from the 31st of this month until the 28th of next month. Major project announcements can be found starting on the 31st on the Ministry of SMEs and Startups website, the Small and Medium Business Corporation (SBC) website, and the employment matching platform dedicated to foreign students.

Kim Woo-jung, Director of Regional Enterprise Policy, said, "We will actively promote projects utilizing excellent foreign students to alleviate the manpower shortage in SMEs," and added, "We hope that universities and institutions with capability and willingness will show great interest in this recruitment."
