National Pension Service Gwangju Branch Donates Funds to Jeju Air Victims' Families

View original imageGwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Park Cheolhong, hereinafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 23rd that the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the National Pension Service donated 1 million KRW to support the families of the victims of the Jeju Air accident.
The donation ceremony, held on the 3rd floor of the Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae building on the 17th, was attended by Park Heungcheol, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, Seol Myeongjin, Head of the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the National Pension Service, and other staff members.
This donation will be delivered to the victims of the Jeju Air accident and will be used for recovery from the damages caused by the accident as well as for psychological and economic support.
Seol Myeongjin, Head of the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the National Pension Service, said, "We made this donation in hopes that it will help heal the wounds of the victims, even if just a little," and added, "We extend our deepest condolences and comfort to our neighbors affected by this sudden tragedy."
Park Heungcheol, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, said, "We are deeply grateful for the warmheartedness shown by the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the National Pension Service in helping the victims," and added, "We will ensure that the donated funds are delivered to the bereaved families who are enduring pain and sorrow during this difficult time."
