Goryeong-gun, Lunar New Year Visits to Social Welfare Facilities... Encouraging Workers' Hard Work
Goryeong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, visited Goryeong Yeongsaeng Nursing Home on the 22nd to deliver daily necessities and other consolation items in celebration of the traditional Korean holiday, Seol.
This visit was arranged to communicate with the residents and staff of the facility and share warmth. Lee Nam-cheol, the head of Goryeong-gun, and officials listened to the difficulties and challenges faced by the welfare facility and encouraged the hard work of the staff.
Governor Lee Nam-cheol stated, “For the elderly living in the facility, holidays often increase feelings of loneliness, so I hope this visit helped them have a warm and happy holiday. I also thank the facility staff who dedicate themselves to the elderly despite hardships, and I will actively work to closely watch over neighbors and create an atmosphere full of warmth.”
