Park Closed for Three Days During Seollal, Racing to Resume on February 7
Korea Racing Authority’s Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam (headed by Eom Youngseok) announced on January 23 that it will hold a “Fortune Delivery Event” to celebrate Seollal (Lunar New Year) at the Derby Land Square in the Jungmun area on January 26, ahead of the holiday.
The Fortune Delivery Event has been organized to wish good fortune and fulfillment of wishes for visitors to Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam during the nation’s major holiday, Seollal, and to share the festive atmosphere. The event will take place at Derby Land Square in Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam starting at 9:30 a.m.
This first-come, first-served event will provide nutritious fortune rice cakes to a total of 4,000 visitors to help them start the new year with energy. In particular, Eom Youngseok, head of the Busan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, along with Korea Racing Authority executives and staff, will personally greet customers at the main entrance to extend New Year’s greetings and express their gratitude.

Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam will be closed for the Seollal holiday from January 31 to February 2. During this three-day closure, no races will be held, and both the family park and amusement facilities will not be in operation. After taking this break for the holiday, Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam will resume horse racing on Friday, February 7.
