Wanju County Recruiting Participants for 'Youth Challenge Support Project'

Wanju County in North Jeolla Province is recruiting participants for the 2025 Youth Challenge Support Project.
According to the county on the 22nd, this support project was launched to provide opportunities for social and employment activities to young people who have been taking a break from employment, education, or vocational training for more than six months.
The target group is young people aged 18 to 39, and for Wanju residents, participation is possible up to the age of 45.

View original imageThe total number of recruits is 120, and depending on the participation period, the program is divided into short-term (5 weeks), mid-term (15 weeks), and long-term (25 weeks). Thirty people will be selected for the short-term course, 60 for the mid-term course, and 30 for the long-term course.
The program will be operated at the buffer zone in Samnye-eup and Iseonaru in Iseo-myeon, offering participants programs to strengthen life skills such as health, counseling, finance, and law, as well as systematic job competency enhancement programs. In addition, newly improved programs such as mentoring and peer supporter activities will be provided to further increase participant satisfaction.
Participants will receive an allowance ranging from 500,000 won to a maximum of 2,500,000 won depending on the type of participation and achievement, and job placement support and additional incentives will be provided upon successful employment. Participation in the program is free, and various forms of support will be offered to motivate young people to engage in social activities and help them achieve economic independence.
Applications for the project will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Google application form linked in the Wanju County website, Instagram, and other project information materials.
