The county has secured a total project budget of 10 billion KRW, including 6.5 billion KRW from national and provincial funds. Over the next three years, until 2027, the county plans to build a public rental housing complex with 30 units, a shared childcare facility, and a community center for cultural and leisure activities on a 16,734㎡ site in Nohari, Jangsu-eup.

Additionally, within a 2km radius, there are various facilities such as educational, cultural, commercial, sports, and public amenities, which are expected to greatly enhance residential convenience.
Furthermore, the area is ideally suited as a location for the Youth Rural Housing Project, as it is adjacent to key job-creating facilities such as a planned park golf course?which has recently gained popularity as a leisure sport?smart farms, Jangsu Agro-Industrial Complex, flower farming cooperatives, and apple horticultural cooperatives.
The "Youth Rural Housing Project" aims to reduce the housing and childcare burdens of young people returning to or settling in rural areas, improve living conditions, attract more young residents, and address the crisis of population decline.
Eligible residents include young people under the age of 40 who have returned to or moved to rural areas, newlywed couples, and households where the head is under 40 and raising at least one child. The rental period is initially two years, with one possible renewal (two more years), and for households with school-age children, the maximum duration is up to 10 years until the child graduates from elementary school.
County Governor Choi Hunsik said, "Through this project, we will create living conditions that enable young people returning to or settling in rural areas to establish themselves stably in the region," adding, "We will continue to actively pursue various policies and projects to revitalize rural areas and alleviate population decline."
