View original imageThe city announced that it will operate the ‘Public Officials’ After-Work Local Economy Walk Day’ this year to stimulate consumption within the local alley markets that are struggling throughout the year.
The ‘Public Officials’ After-Work Local Economy Walk Day’ is a policy project designed to stabilize small business management and revitalize the local economy, and it is a ‘Public Sector Local Win-Win Project’ involving participation from public officials.
Public officials affiliated with the city will experience the local alley markets on the second and fourth Fridays of every month, as well as two days before major holidays, and promote healthy consumption activities.
Meanwhile, on the 21st, Mayor Kang Su-hyun took the lead as the first participant, marking the start of this project.
On that day, Mayor Kang visited the Baekseok Bokjiri commercial district within the city, listened to the difficulties and challenges faced by small business owners working hard on the front lines, and continued the path of ‘communicative administration.’
