Experience and Explore Scientific Principles Through Interactive Exhibits
The permanent exhibition hall at the National Gwangju Science Museum has completed its renovation.
On the 22nd, the Gwangju Science Museum announced, "We have newly renovated the Everyday Science Corner so that visitors can explore the scientific principles hidden in various movements of daily life, and both children and adults can touch, operate, and easily enjoy the fun of science together."
New major exhibits include "Art Created by Wind," where visitors can freely experience artistic activities using fabric and wind on a circular stage, and "Bounce Bounce," where visitors can drop balls of different sizes to learn about energy transfer.

View original imageAmong these, the large "Energy Gate," where visitors can observe changes in movement and speed depending on the position of a rolling ball, and "Energy Vortex," which visually and entertainingly demonstrates the law of conservation of angular momentum, are also newly introduced.
Interesting exhibits have also been added to the sports corner. "Mini Curling," where visitors can compete with each other using stones, and "Freeze!" where visitors can try various poses to check their body balance and physical age, are now available.
In addition, visitors can enjoy new exhibits such as "Light Following the Wind" in the Light Corner and "Sound of the Mind Xylophone" in the Science and Art Corner.
