Accordingly, the Office of Education held briefing sessions for public middle and high schools in Goyang, Suwon, Yongin, and Uijeongbu to explain the purpose of introducing the test site teacher rotation system and to request participation.
The Office of Education first selected 211 test sites (58 in Suwon, 65 in Yongin, 23 in Uijeongbu, and 65 in Goyang) considering factors such as size (number of classes) and public transportation convenience. Among these, the order for the three-year period (2025?27) will be designated in advance through a lottery.
The lottery for test site teachers will be held on ▲January 21 (Uijeongbu) ▲January 24 (Suwon) ▲February 4 (Yongin) ▲February 7 (Goyang), and the test site teachers for the first test in 2025 can be confirmed through the test site announcement on March 21.
The rotation system is meaningful in that it promotes the opening of school facilities and prevents the concentration of workload on specific schools, thereby establishing a predictable and stable test site teacher operation system.
In addition, prior selection guidance supports the operation of the school curriculum, and designating test site teachers considering accessibility can increase applicant satisfaction.
A school official who participated in the lottery said, “We strongly agree with the purpose of the system, which shares the burden of operating test site teachers among all schools, and it is helpful for academic operations as the timing of test site teacher designation can be known in advance.”
