The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeongnam held the '2025 Economic Organizations New Year Exchange Meeting' on the afternoon of the 21st.

View original imageAt the exchange meeting, 16 key economic organization representatives attended, including Choi Jae-ho, Chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Shin Ki-soo, Chairman of the Changwon National Industrial Complex Managers Association; Choi Dong-yoon, Chairman of the Jinhae Macheon Casting Complex Association; Choi Tae-hwan, Chairman of the Changwon Shipbuilding Equipment Association; Han Myung-seok, Chairman of the Daesan-myeon Business Association; Han Cheong-su, Chairman of the Masan Bong-an Industrial Complex Association; and Jo Hong-je, Chairman of the Naeseo Entrepreneurs Association.
During the exchange meeting, discussions were held on measures for sustainable growth of the regional economy, including the promotion of legislation for balanced regional development, differential application of corporate tax, earned income tax, and inheritance tax by region, resolution of manpower shortages in small and medium-sized enterprises, training of AI specialists, and ESG response. The meeting sought common goals and practical measures for the regional economic community.
In particular, at this event, the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced plans regarding the Non-Capital Region Chambers of Commerce and Industry Council, the joint contract designation proposal for the Gadukdo New Airport construction project, and the Good Prepayment Campaign to support local small business owners, attracting significant attention. In response, the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry requested active participation from economic organizations and emphasized joint efforts to revitalize the regional economy.
Additionally, at the exchange meeting, the attending economic organization representatives conducted a 'Good Prepayment Campaign Participation Performance' together and declared their commitment to actively participate in the campaign along with their affiliated companies.
