On the 20th, Daehan Cable held an entrance ceremony for 26 new employees at Hoban Park in Seocho-gu, Seoul, the company announced on the 21st.

View original imageThe entrance ceremony was attended by key executives of Hoban Group, including Chairman Kim Seon-gyu, Vice Chairman Song Jong-min of Daehan Cable, President Kim Dae-heon of Hoban Group’s Planning Division, and Director Kim Min-seong of Hoban Group’s Planning and Management Office, as well as business division heads and employees of Daehan Cable. The event proceeded in the order of the new employees’ oath-taking, badge presentation, encouragement speeches by executives, and commemorative photo sessions.
In his encouragement speech, Vice Chairman Song Jong-min said, "Daehan Cable successfully entered the next-generation power grid market last year by securing a contract for HVDC cables in the United States, and by acquiring production capabilities for submarine cables, laid the foundation to leap forward as a global top-tier player in the offshore wind power sector. I hope the passion of the new employees will be recognized as a new energy that can accelerate Daehan Cable’s growth, and that you will fully demonstrate your capabilities."
The newly hired employees are expected to be largely assigned to the Submarine Business Division, Technology Research Institute, and Quality Department. The company plans to strengthen its technological competitiveness by reinforcing new personnel in the submarine cable field and to accelerate research and development of new products in the cable and solution sectors.
Prior to the entrance ceremony, the new employees completed a two-week orientation training. Daehan Cable conducted various programs to enhance the new employees’ sense of belonging and understanding of the business and products. They also had the opportunity to visit major production facilities such as the Dangjin Cable Factory to directly observe cable and solution products and manufacturing processes.
