President Hong emphasized "fundamentals" as the key theme of his on-site management that day. He stated, "To establish a 'success formula' that ensures continuous definite success, the fundamentals directly linked to customer trust are the most important." This means that a solid foundation in core telecommunications capabilities is essential for new leaps forward.
He added, "Only when the fundamentals are established can we provide differentiated value," and urged, "Please repeatedly verify and test network quality under the most extreme conditions to ensure stable quality maintenance in any situation." He further explained, "If we build on a solid foundation by adding capabilities such as customer analysis, data- and metric-based execution strategies, and cooperative system establishment, I am confident we can become the number one operator that delivers customer satisfaction not only in telecommunications but also in newly emerging competitive areas."
He also stressed the importance of safety. President Hong said, "Protecting the safety of our members and partner company employees is a non-negotiable top priority," and emphasized, "We will spare no resources or investment as long as safety accidents can be prevented." He instructed to review safety training from the perspective of effectiveness, identify areas for advancement, and systematically categorize and manage scenarios where accidents could occur.
After listening to the concerns of the members, President Hong said, "You, who do your best in unseen places and create differentiated value, are truly the core of the company," and urged, "Take pride in being responsible for the most important fundamentals for our leap forward and do your best." He continued, "Starting this year, we aim to raise the standards for quality, safety, and security to meet customer expectations," adding, "We will create an organizational culture where necessary support for securing related capabilities can be proposed without reservation."
President Hong conveyed his intention to visit various sites throughout the year to communicate with members and share future visions, starting with this on-site visit. Previously, on December 31 of last year, he visited NW Sangam Station, Magok Integrated Control Center, and Nonhyeon Customer Center to engage with frontline members.
