"Hear Job Tips from Current Employees at Large Corporations"... Dongjak-gu to Hold Employment Special Lecture Next Month
Anyone Aged 19 to 39 Can Apply
Dongjak-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Il-ha) will operate the ‘Dongjak Youth Customized Employment Special Lecture’ from the 3rd to the 28th of next month to help local university students and job-seeking youth prepare for employment and develop their careers.
This special lecture is designed to strengthen the employment capabilities of young people by delivering vivid employment information and corporate talent requirements through lectures by current professionals in various fields.
Previously, the district achieved results with 323 graduates and 22 employed individuals in 2023 and last year. This year, all lectures, including common mandatory job lectures and customized lectures by job and institution, will be conducted face-to-face at the Noryangjin Youth Job Center (140 Noryangjin-ro) without any online classes.
The common mandatory job lectures cover topics such as ▲Everything about Internships ▲Finding Good Jobs through Company/Industry Analysis ▲Key Interview Strategies for Employment Success ▲Completing Your Speech: Everything about the 1-Minute Self-Introduction, and participants who attend the mandatory lectures can receive one-on-one employment consulting.
The job-specific lectures are taught by current and former employees of large companies such as Samsung Electronics, CJ, and Woowa Brothers, providing employment information and interview know-how related to jobs such as ▲Marketing ▲Semiconductors ▲IT (Planning and Data Analysis) ▲Sales (Global) ▲R&D.
The institution-specific lectures are led by current employees of public enterprises and institutions such as Korea Railroad Corporation and Korea Workers’ Compensation & Welfare Service, as well as mentors from local companies like Saetbyeol Art Co., Ltd., who guide participants on the necessary experience and effective employment preparation methods in the actual job market.
Any youth aged 19 to 39 residing or active in Dongjak-gu can participate, and applications can be made through the Dongjak-gu Office integrated reservation system on the website or via the QR code on the poster by the day before each lecture.
