Focusing on Housing Stability and Capacity Building, Launching Various Programs Worth 2 Billion KRW

On the 17th, KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 19th that it signed a multilateral business agreement with the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Save the Children, and the Green Umbrella Child Fund to support the social settlement of youth preparing for independence.
At the signing ceremony, officials from each organization attended, including Lee Gi-il, First Vice Minister of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Lee Hwan-joo, President of KB Kookmin Bank, Oh Jun, Chairman of Save the Children, and Yeo Seung-soo, Secretary General of the Green Umbrella Child Fund.
Based on this business agreement, KB Kookmin Bank will donate 2 billion KRW and organically cooperate with public and private institutions to promote various social contribution programs in the areas of 'capacity building' and 'housing stability' to facilitate the smooth social settlement of youth preparing for independence.
Through capacity building programs, KB Kookmin Bank plans to help youth preparing for independence achieve economic and social self-reliance. They will provide systematic capacity building programs such as career exploration, certification acquisition, and academic achievement, as well as employment-linked programs including job consulting and internships.
Additionally, through mentoring with experts, they plan to promote the social independence and healthy growth of youth, and actively support stable independence by providing information on government support policies for youth preparing for independence, special lectures on independence, and opportunities for networking activities among youth.
KB Kookmin Bank plans to newly remodel the independent living facilities, which serve as homes for youth preparing for independence.
They will create community spaces and provide independence education and employment support programs together, supporting youth to systematically prepare for independence in a comfortable environment.
