Yoon Supporters' 'Seobu District Court Attack'... National Police Agency Holds Emergency Command Meeting
As supporters of President Yoon Suk-yeol stormed the Seoul Western District Court, the National Police Agency convened an emergency command meeting.
On the 19th, the National Police Agency announced through a press release, "An emergency command meeting will be held to discuss countermeasures related to nationwide collective illegal violent protests, including those at the Seoul Western District Court." The command video conference was chaired by the acting commissioner of the National Police Agency and attended by relevant bureau chiefs from the headquarters, chiefs of police from cities and provinces nationwide, as well as public safety vehicle commanders and department heads.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency formed a dedicated investigation team regarding the violent incident at the Seoul Western District Court. From the 18th, when the detention hearings were held, until the 19th, when warrants were issued, a total of 86 people were arrested on the spot. On the 18th, 40 people were detained on charges including assaulting police officers, trespassing over the Western District Court fence, and attacking vehicles of the High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Office (Gong-su-cheo). On the 19th, immediately after the warrants were issued, 46 people were caught in the act for breaking through police barricades, climbing over fences to enter the court, and damaging various property.

The police designated one team from the Criminal Mobile Unit to analyze the footage collected over the two days and identify additional participants. The police stated, "We plan to thoroughly track down additional illegal actors as well as those who instigated or aided and abetted them."
