Naju City Recruiting Organizations for Culture and Arts Support Program
Five Categories Including Performances, Competitions, Exhibitions, and Education
Additional Points Given to Youth Culture and Arts Organizations
Naju City, Jeollanam-do announced on the 17th that it is accepting applications from organizations wishing to participate in the 2025 local government subsidy program for the culture and arts sector until February 7th of next month.
The subsidy program aims to encourage creative motivation and strengthen the capabilities of local culture and arts organizations, as well as to expand opportunities for citizens to enjoy cultural experiences. Organizations will be selected in five categories, including performances, competitions, exhibitions, and education.
Eligible applicants are non-profit corporations or organizations that have their address in Naju as of the announcement date (the 16th) and have either a record of activities or are currently active in the culture and arts sector within the past two years.
Proof of activity must be submitted under the organization's name, not an individual (representative).
Organizations without a representative, simple social clubs, organizations without any record of culture and arts activities in the last two years, or those restricted from receiving subsidies by relevant laws or regulations, are excluded.
Each organization may apply for up to four projects. Interested organizations should complete and attach the application form, organization introduction and certificate, proof of activities, and project plan, and submit them to the Culture and Arts Division of City Hall by February 7th.
A Naju City official stated, "We will carefully select organizations for subsidy support so that citizens, as the recipients of cultural welfare, can enjoy a wider range of culture and arts," adding, "We plan to thoroughly carry out our work so that the selected organizations can create synergy by linking with major city events."
For inquiries regarding the application, please refer to the notices and announcements on the Naju City Hall website, or contact the Culture and Arts Division of Naju City for more details.
