We Hope to Support Our Partners and Their Members"
SK Hynix announced on the 17th that it will make early payments of approximately 133 billion KRW in transaction payments to 470 partner companies in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.
SK Hynix expects that this early payment of transaction funds will provide substantial support to partner companies, which are likely to face temporary cash flow demands due to raw material payments and employee holiday bonuses. The company stated, "Considering the overall industry situation struggling with high interest rates and high exchange rates, we have decided to make early payments of transaction funds to ensure smooth cash management for our partners and to revitalize the domestic economy." It added, "We hope this payment will help our partners and their members prepare for the Lunar New Year holiday and support their households."
Previously, SK Hynix increased the frequency of transaction payments from three to four times a month starting in 2020 to support its partners. Additionally, the company operates a win-win fund totaling approximately 360 billion KRW, including a low-interest shared growth fund of about 340 billion KRW and an interest-free delivery payment support fund of about 20 billion KRW, to support the stable management activities of its partners.
