National Heritage Administration Officially Launches 'Next-Generation Electronic Administration System'
Digitally Integrating and Managing All National Heritage Administrative Tasks
The Cultural Heritage Administration announced on the 17th that it has officially launched the 'Next-Generation National Heritage Electronic Administration System.' It is an integrated platform that digitally consolidates and operates all national heritage administrative tasks. In line with the transition of the national heritage system in May last year, the existing system, which has been in operation since 2004, was upgraded and its usability enhanced.

View original imageIn 2023, the Cultural Heritage Administration established the 'Next-Generation National Heritage Electronic Administration System Master Plan.' Based on the analysis and design results of the existing system, the development of the next-generation system was promoted, and usage was stabilized through a pilot launch in November last year.
The changed system environment is built around user experience (UX) to facilitate smoother task processing. It operates on a government cloud, significantly improving security and performance. Rapid operation management is also possible through specialized personnel from the National Information Resources Service.

The Cultural Heritage Administration will also introduce an integrated search function next month. Based on the accumulated national heritage data, it will quickly provide administrative information such as national heritage designation and cancellation, status changes, and government subsidies. An official stated, "We expect administrative tasks to become more flexible by standardizing various civil service procedures, including local governments' applications and management of government subsidy projects, applications from survey and excavation institutions, and animal protection organizations."
