Hwasun County to Invest 14.5 Billion KRW in Maintenance Project for Aging and Hazardous Reservoirs
Hwasun County (Governor Koo Bokgyu) will invest 14.5 billion KRW in maintenance projects for seven aging and hazardous reservoirs.
This year, three new projects?Yonggyeje in Hwasun-eup, Charije in Cheongpung-myeon, and Unnongje in Dong-myeon?are currently undergoing detailed design services, with plans to complete the projects by 2027.

Jo Youngil, Director of Construction and Transportation, stated, "The reservoir maintenance project is a crucial infrastructure initiative to enhance the safety and agricultural convenience of our residents. We will do our utmost to prevent disaster risks caused by aging facilities and to establish a stable agricultural water supply system."
