Monthly Hiring Subsidy of 700,000 KRW for One Year to Companies
Employment Incentive Provided to Youth Who Remain Employed for Two Years
Jeonju City in Jeollabuk-do is recruiting companies to participate in the 'Youth Employment 2000 Project' until the 31st, aiming to promote employment among local youth and support companies in hiring talent.
According to the city on the 16th, this project is an employment promotion initiative designed to provide quality jobs for unemployed youth aged 18 to 39 and to help small and medium-sized enterprises secure a stable workforce.
The city plans to select 10 young participants through this recruitment. Companies chosen through an open recruitment and document screening process will receive a hiring subsidy of 700,000 KRW per month for up to one year to encourage the conversion of youth employees to permanent positions and promote long-term employment.
Additionally, youth employees who work at participating companies for two years will be eligible to receive up to 3 million KRW as an employment incentive.
Eligible applicants are companies in the Jeonju area with at least three regular employees enrolled in employment insurance, and they must have plans to hire additional permanent staff beyond their current workforce. They must also offer at least the minimum wage monthly to qualify for support.
Companies wishing to participate can check the announcement on the Jeonju City website and submit the application form and required documents either in person at the Jeonju City Youth Policy Division or by mail.
A city official stated, "We expect this project will expand employment opportunities for local youth and help resolve workforce shortages for companies," adding, "We plan to support youth with stable jobs and substantial employment incentives to assist in their long-term career development."
