LG Electronics Opens Unique Pop-up Store at Gonjiam Resort Ski Resort
Operating the 'Romantic Cabin.zip' Pop-up Store
Targeting the Ski Season... Experience LG Home Appliances
LG Electronics announced on the 16th that it is operating a pop-up store called 'Romantic Cabin.zip' for the 'Lifezip' community of the 'Home Lifestyle' at the Gonjiam Resort Ski Resort in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province.
LG Electronics opened a unique pop-up store called 'Romantic Cabin.zip' at the Gonjiam Resort Ski Resort. Lifezip, a home lifestyle community operated by LG Electronics, is running a pop-up store with the concept of a 'cabin in the snow' for the ski season, allowing customers to experience LG Electronics products. The photo shows customers experiencing and exploring LG Electronics products and events installed inside and outside the Lifezip pop-up store 'Romantic Cabin.zip,' including LG Electronics' portable lifestyle screen LG StanbyMe. View original imageLifezip was planned with the intention of enriching customers' lives by sharing various activities enjoyed at home. Under the message "We can do anything at home," it provides content on home lifestyle themes such as cooking, gardening, art, and entertainment, collaborating with companies that share similar brand philosophies, including Minumsa, Hyundai Green Food, and Shinsegae Department Store.
The number of Lifezip members surpassed 50,000 in January last year and began to spread by word of mouth, recently increasing nearly eightfold in one year to exceed a total of 390,000 members.
This pop-up store prepared by Lifezip was planned to expand the online community experience offline and share it with more customers. In line with the ski season, it applied the form of a "cabin in the snow" where customers visiting Gonjiam Resort can take a break from the cold winter weather and find comfort and stability.
The pop-up store was made more meaningful by using wooden pallets. Wooden pallets, used in logistics sites to load and transport home appliances, were used to recreate the feeling of a cabin in the forest. LG Electronics plans to recycle these wooden pallets for future pop-ups and other uses.
Customers can also experience LG Electronics home appliances installed inside the cabin and in the front yard, including the portable lifestyle screen 'LG StanbyME,' the premium wireless speaker 'LG XBOOM 360,' the ultra-compact premium 4K projector 'LG CineBeam Cube,' the new concept table-type air purifier 'LG PuriCare AeroFurniture,' and the new concept air purifier fan 'AeroTower.'
