Appointment of An Wonhwan as the New Director of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Gyeongnam East Branch
On the 14th, An Wonhwan was inaugurated as the new head of the Gyeongnam Eastern Branch of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency.
Head An majored in Education and Environmental Health at Pusan National University and joined the agency in December 1992. He has held key positions including Director of the Safety and Health Policy Office at the Research Institute, Director of Curriculum Operations at the Training Center, Director of the Management Planning Headquarters at the Headquarters, and Director of the Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters.
Head An stated, “Since small and medium-sized manufacturing workplaces are prevalent in the Gimhae, Yangsan, and Miryang areas, and there are many foreign workers, a region-specific disaster prevention strategy tailored to these characteristics is necessary.”
