Sangmyung University-Jongno District to Host '2024 Winter Vacation English Camp'
Sangmyung University announced that it will hold the "2024 Sangmyung University Winter Vacation English Camp" in collaboration with Jongno-gu, Seoul, for two weeks from the 13th to the 24th.

View original imageOrganized by the Sangmyung University Future Education Center, this event is scheduled to be conducted for 98 elementary school students within Jongno-gu. This program, jointly hosted by Sangmyung University and Jongno-gu since 2007, marks its 18th year this year.
The camp will be conducted through English classes taught by native speakers and bilingual teachers affiliated with the university. Students will attend classes based on the Interactive Language Learning System, a language learning system consisting of three stages: learning, practice, and internalization.
At the camp orientation held on the 11th at the Daeshin Hall of the Sangmyung Art Center, attendees included Hong Sung-tae, President of Sangmyung University; Koo Ja-yong, Vice President for Academic Affairs of Sangmyung University Seoul Campus; Jung Moon-heon, Mayor of Jongno-gu; and Ra Do-gyun, Chairman of the Jongno District Council.

Lee Seung-yeon, Director of the Sangmyung University Future Education Center, explained, "Based on Sangmyung University's educational philosophy of coexisting with the local community, we have prepared a program that allows elementary school students in the area to naturally acquire foreign languages."
