The police have notified Kim Shin, the Family Director of the Presidential Security Service, to appear as a suspect on the 14th.
On the 12th, the Special Investigation Unit for Martial Law informed Director Kim to appear by 10 a.m. on the 14th on charges of obstructing official duties.
Director Kim is accused of blocking the High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Division (HOCI) and police's attempt to execute an arrest warrant against President Yoon Seok-yeol on the 3rd.
Director Kim is identified by the opposition as a member of the 'Kim Geon-hee Faction' within the Security Service.
