Yeongdeok-gun to Invest 2.8 Billion KRW in Fruit Industry Development in 2025
22 Projects Including Coloring Enhancement Equipment Support

Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, has decided to invest 2.8 billion KRW this year in the development of the fruit industry, an increase of 350 million KRW from the previous year, to promote the growth of the local fruit industry and contribute to the increase of farmers' income.

View original imageAccordingly, Yeongdeok-gun will support equipment such as coloring bags, reflective films, and long-term preservatives to improve the quality of major fruits produced in the region, including apples, pears, peaches, and grapes. To respond to abnormal weather conditions, it will also provide heat damage mitigants, cold damage mitigants, and artificial pollination pollen.
In particular, to assist farmers who faced difficulties due to poor apple coloring last year, coloring agents will be provided. Additionally, support will be given for labor-saving equipment such as SS machines and high-altitude work vehicles, installation of cold storage facilities, and well development to establish a production foundation for fruit farming.
The application targets include 22 projects other than the coloring enhancement equipment support project, and applications can be submitted through the industrial teams of the nine eup and myeon offices by the 24th.
