Seongju Love Gift Certificates 15% Special Discount Sale for the Month of January
Implemented to Revitalize Local Economy and Promote Consumption
Seongju-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, has taken steps to encourage the use of local currency to revitalize the regional economy and promote consumption.
On the 7th, Seongju-gun announced that it will hold a special sale in January, temporarily increasing the discount rate of the 'Seongju Love Gift Certificate (card type)' from the existing 10% to 15%.
This special sale is being promoted to stimulate consumption within the region and revitalize the local economy. During January, a 15% discount will be applied only to the card-type gift certificates, with a purchase limit of 500,000 KRW per individual. The sale may end early if the budget is exhausted.
Meanwhile, the paper-type gift certificates will continue to have a 10% discount, with a purchase limit of 200,000 KRW per individual.

Lee Byung-hwan, the mayor of Seongju-gun, said, “We hope that the increased discount rate for the Seongju Love Gift Certificate special sale will ease household burdens and greatly help local small business owners.” He added, “In addition, we will spare no administrative support for the rapid recovery of the local economy and the stabilization of people's livelihoods through various other policies.”
