The First 'Namu Uisa' Qualification Exam of the Year to Be Held Next Month
The first Tree Doctor qualification exam of the year will be held next month.
The Korea Forestry Promotion Institute announced on the 6th that, according to the Tree Doctor qualification exam schedule, the first 'Tree Doctor Qualification Exam 1st Test (11th session)' of this year will be conducted on the 22nd of next month in Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, and Daejeon.

View original imageApplications will be accepted from 9 a.m. on the 6th until 6 p.m. on the 10th through the Tree Diagnosis Specialist website.
The exam (1st written test) covers five subjects: Tree Pathology, Tree Entomology, Tree Physiology, Forest Soil Science, and Tree Management. Each subject consists of 25 questions, all multiple-choice with five options.
The list of successful candidates will be announced on April 18 on the Tree Diagnosis Specialist website.

Tree Doctors are specialized personnel who prevent, diagnose, and treat tree diseases and pests, and must obtain qualifications according to the Forest Protection Act. Qualification is granted after completing education at a Tree Doctor training institution and passing the exam.
