LG Electronics will present a transformed daily life by connecting and expanding customer empathy intelligence (AI) experiences across various spaces at 'CES 2025,' the world's largest consumer electronics and information technology (IT) exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA, from the 7th to the 10th (local time).

View original imageAccording to industry sources on the 6th, LG Electronics will first introduce the AI Home Zone, where customers can directly experience the value and convenience of everyday life at home through AI technology. Various AI home hubs, including the generative AI-equipped ‘LG ThinQ On’ and on-device AI-based concept products, detect customers' speech, actions, and surrounding environment through sensors installed throughout the home and optimally control connected Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
For example, the AI home hub analyzes the sleeping customer's heart rate, breathing, and coughing through sensors installed throughout the house and suggests warm water to a customer who usually drinks cold water, or automatically adjusts the indoor temperature and humidity. The 136-inch next-generation 'LG Micro LED' installed in the living room identifies the customer's voice and provides webOS content tailored to that customer. Data collected with the customer's consent is securely protected by LG Electronics' proprietary security system, 'LG Shield.'
LG Electronics will also unveil for the first time new ultra-premium home appliances under the 'LG SIGNATURE' brand, combining differentiated design, technology, and convenient usability. The 'Smart InstaView Refrigerator' has upgraded InstaView technology, which uses a transparent OLED display to check the type and quantity of stored food without opening the door.
Additionally, in collaboration with the Italian luxury furniture brand 'Kartell,' LG will showcase lifestyle spaces where innovative home appliances such as the world's first wireless and transparent OLED TV 'LG SIGNATURE OLED T' and the air purifier 'Aero Cat' for cat owners harmonize with beautiful interior furniture.
Mobility is defined as a space that expands and differentiates customer experiences, and various AI-based future mobility technologies will also be unveiled.
Visitors can directly board concept vehicles equipped with vision AI inside the exhibition hall and experience the 'In-Cabin Sensing' solution (detecting the driver and vehicle interior space) using virtual driving simulation. This solution utilizes vision AI technology that quickly and accurately recognizes surrounding objects, people, and signals, and AI processes vehicle interior information collected by cameras and sensors to provide real-time translation of foreign language traffic signs during driving, detect drowsiness based on the driver's gaze and facial expressions, measure heart rate in real time, and recognize seatbelt usage, helping to prevent traffic accidents.
The 'MX (Mobility eXperience) Platform,' a mobile customized space that expands the AI home to vehicles according to customers' diverse lifestyles, allows visitors to experience a comfortable and pleasant space like home in a concept vehicle created using LG Electronics' home appliances and AI home hub ‘LG ThinQ On.’
By combining home appliances from the living room, dressing room, bedroom, kitchen, and more like modules tailored to customers' preferences, one can relax comfortably like at home or use the space as a workspace. ‘LG ThinQ On’ monitors the in-vehicle environment in real time, interacts with passengers, manages schedules, provides weather and traffic information, and assists with food orders, laundry, restaurant reservations, and more.
At LG Electronics' exhibition, visitors can also experience 28 units of the 77-inch 'LG SIGNATURE OLED T' and a massive media art installation using large chandelier lighting. The gigantic sculpture, which encircles the chandelier with transparent OLED displays in a circular shape, allows beautiful artwork to be appreciated from any position.
The wireless and transparent OLED TV rotates left and right in sync with the video, displaying beautiful visuals such as the Milky Way, ocean, and stained glass along with the chandelier lighting behind the transparent screen when showing the screen, and expressing spatial freedom by showcasing the OLED's slim design and wireless transmission that eliminates complicated cables when rotating.
Various AI solutions that enhance work efficiency and create optimal usage environments by analyzing customers' usage history and surrounding conditions also attract attention.
LG Electronics has created a space where visitors can freely experience innovative IT devices such as the ultra-lightweight AI PC 'LG Gram,' 'LG MyView Smart Monitor,' and electronic whiteboards used for video conferencing. Based on highly secure on-device AI, various solutions that improve work efficiency are introduced, including document summarization during work, keyword search within images, and chatbots that find customized results considering usage history.
