Passenger Plane Disaster Day 7, Over 70 Victims Reunited with Families... 7 Funerals Today
On the 7th day of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster at Muan International Airport in Jeonnam, funerals and send-offs for the victims continued on the 4th.
On the 7th day of the disaster, send-offs for seven victims were held at funeral halls in Gwangju and Jeonbuk. As of the morning of that day, 70 victims had returned to their families for funerals.
The recovery authorities expect that the remains of the remaining 109 victims will also be handed over to their families on the same day.

The deceased include 74 residents of Jeonnam Province, 83 citizens of Gwangju, 6 residents of Jeonbuk Province, 4 residents of Gyeonggi Province, 3 citizens of Seoul, 2 residents of Jeju Province, 1 resident of Gyeongnam Province, and 2 Thai nationals.
