Gachon University Attracts 10,184 Applicants for 2025 Regular Admissions... Competition Rate 7.3 to 1
Gachon University announced on the 4th that the regular admission application for the 2025 academic year, which closed on the 3rd, received 11,184 applications for 1,387 available spots, recording an average competition rate of 7.3 to 1. This is similar to last year's competition rate of 7.1 to 1.
Looking at the application status by screening type, ▲Group A general screening had 4,018 applicants for 516 spots, resulting in a 7.8 to 1 competition rate ▲Group B general screening had 1,893 applicants for 295 spots, resulting in a 6.4 to 1 competition rate ▲Group C general screening had 4,021 applicants for 492 spots, resulting in an 8.2 to 1 competition rate.
The College of Medicine's pre-medical program had 239 applicants for 40 spots, a 6 to 1 competition rate; the Department of Pharmacy had 137 applicants for 15 spots, a 9.1 to 1 competition rate; and the Department of Korean Medicine had 239 applicants for 23 spots, a 10.4 to 1 competition rate. The early employment-type contract department recruited under Group B had 187 applicants for 74 spots, showing a 2.5 to 1 competition rate.
