View original imageAt around 3:28 PM on the 3rd, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.9 occurred near Sinwon-myeon, Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, the epicenter of the earthquake was located about 14 km south of Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam, with a focal depth estimated at approximately 8 km.
A total of 9 felt reports were received within the province: 4 in Geochang, 2 in Hapcheon, 2 in Hamyang, and 1 in Sancheong, but no damage reports due to the earthquake were filed.
