Insurance Industry Donates 100 Million KRW to Bereaved Families of Jeju Air Accident Victims
The Non-Life Insurance Social Contribution Council announced on the 3rd that it donated 100 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross to support the victims and bereaved families of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident that occurred at Jeonnam Muan International Airport.
This council is a consultative body established by the Non-Life Insurance Association and the industry to practice social responsibility and activate social contribution activities.
The donation will be used to support the Korean Red Cross's relief activities, including providing emergency relief supplies and psychological recovery support for the bereaved families.
Lee Byung-rae, Chairman of the Non-Life Insurance Social Contribution Council, said, “We deeply mourn those who lost their lives in the sudden accident and extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families who are grieving.”
