This road expansion was commissioned to the city by Jeil Pharm and Jeil Health Science as part of the mandatory infrastructure installation for the nearby 'Yongin Jeil Bio General Industrial Complex.' The city signed a consignment agreement in 2021, completed compensation procedures, and carried out the road expansion construction from August to December last year.

The city widened the existing two-lane road to three lanes and created a dedicated right-turn lane from Cheonggang Gachang-ro to the Jeil Pharm entrance intersection. On the opposite side, a left-turn lane toward the Jeil Bio Industrial Complex was added. A sidewalk was also newly constructed to enhance pedestrian safety.
To prevent congestion for vehicles turning right from Cheonggang Gachang-ro, an acceleration lane was created on the road toward Geungok Intersection in Baegam-myeon on Local Road 325, and the left-turn lane toward Cheonggang Gachang-ro on the opposite side was extended from 10 meters to 57 meters.
The construction cost of 1.168 billion KRW was borne by the project operators, and the city collected 77 million KRW of consignment fees as non-tax revenue.
