The Korea Federation of Medium-Sized Enterprises (KFME) stated on the 2nd that "the decision to temporarily implement the investment tax credit for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and medium-sized enterprises in 2025 is a highly desirable measure reflecting the government's accurate understanding."
On the same day, KFME announced this through its "Opinions of the Medium-Sized Enterprise Sector on the 2025 Economic Policy Direction," saying, "We actively welcome the government's strong commitment to fully mobilize available means in key policy areas such as strengthening industrial competitiveness."
KFME also emphasized the reform of inheritance and gift taxes and the swift execution of the export support budget. KFME stated, "We hope wisdom will be gathered to devise multifaceted solutions to strengthen corporate management stability, including the reform of inheritance and gift taxes," and added, "A pan-government response system should be established in relation to the inauguration of the Trump administration's second term, and efforts must be made to ensure that FTA improvement negotiations with major countries such as Chile, China, and the United Kingdom proceed swiftly and without setbacks."
