Opening Ceremony Not Held Considering External Conditions
Han Jong-hee, Vice Chairman and Head of Samsung Electronics' Device Experience (DX) Division, and Jeon Young-hyun, Vice Chairman and Head of the Semiconductor (DS) Division, delivered a New Year's message on the 2nd, urging employees to "lay the foundation for a new leap forward and secure new growth engines based on ultra-gap technology leadership."
Vice Chairmen Han and Jeon jointly issued the New Year's message on this day. Instead of a New Year's message from Chairman Lee Jae-yong, the message was delivered under the vice chairmen's names as in previous years. It was explained that the opening ceremony was not held considering external circumstances.

View original imageIn their New Year's message, the two vice chairmen said, "We are now at an inflection point in artificial intelligence (AI) technology, requiring bold innovation that transcends previous successful methods," adding, "Through advanced intelligence, let us firmly establish ourselves as a leading device AI company this year."
They continued, "The future shaped by AI will offer us many opportunities," emphasizing, "We will proactively discover new products, businesses, and innovative business models early, and boldly invest in future technologies and talent."
Vice Chairmen Han and Jeon also addressed quality competitiveness and compliance management.
They stated, "To strengthen the core of our business?technology and quality competitiveness?we further reinforced AI and quality-related organizations last year," and urged, "Let us make every effort to secure future technology leadership and thorough quality assurance."
