Experts from various fields, including Kang Tae-il, Chairman of the Pocheon Shooting Range Damage Committee, and Kim Hyun-jong, former commander of the 5th Corps, presented on diverse topics and engaged in open discussions.
The main presentations and discussions covered ▲Current status and conflicts of military facilities in the Pocheon area ▲Research on win-win measures related to the use of military training grounds ▲Formation of civil-government-military consensus and win-win strategies for regional development ▲Conflict management and public discourse regarding military facilities ▲The role of citizens in civil-government-military conflicts.
Additionally, to relieve the mental stress of residents suffering from military noise, a healing concert titled “A Happy World Comes When You Smile” was held, featuring broadcaster Eom Young-soo.
