Yeoju City to Provide 2025 Enlistment Support Fund…300,000 KRW per Person
Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) announced on the 31st that it will provide enlistment support funds of 300,000 KRW per person starting from the new year.
The enlistment support fund aims to boost the pride of Yeoju citizens, contribute to welfare improvement, and encourage the fulfillment of military service obligations by providing financial support to young people enlisting for military service.
The enlistment support fund is paid in cash, and applicants can apply by visiting the administrative welfare center in their town, township, or neighborhood of residence. The application period is from the receipt of the enlistment notice until one year after enlistment.
To apply for the enlistment support fund, applicants must be individuals subject to military service under the 'Military Service Act' (active duty, supplementary service, full-time reserve, or maritime service reserve) who have continuously resided with their resident registration in Yeoju City for more than one year as of the enlistment date. Soldiers, officers, cadets, social service agents, public health doctors, and industrial technical personnel are eligible to apply.
To apply for the enlistment support fund, the enlistment support fund application form, identification card, enlistment notice, and a copy of the bankbook (in the applicant's name) are required.
