Shall We Start the New Year Strong?... Smart Nowon Fit New Year Event Operation

Various Events Including New Membership, Visit to Ssingssing Snow Sledding Park, and Visit to Traditional Markets

Nowon-gu, Seoul (Mayor Oh Seung-rok) announced that it will hold a New Year event linked to the integrated lifestyle sports mobile app exclusively for Nowon-gu residents, ‘Smart Nowon Fit’.

Smart Nowon Fit began a pilot operation in August this year, recording residents' walking activities and allowing them to check various sports programs, facility information, and walking challenge courses.

The district plans to provide an opportunity for residents to use Smart Nowon Fit more actively through the New Year event and support them in maintaining healthy lifestyle habits consistently.

The first event is a new registration event. From January 1 to January 31, residents who newly register and achieve more than 3,000 steps will receive a special mileage of 1,000 points individually. The district expects this to motivate residents who want to start a healthy life in the New Year.

There is also an event with the Ssingssing Snow Sledding Park that both existing users and new users can participate in. During the sledding park operation period from December 26 to January 26, residents who verify their visit to the sledding park through the app will receive a special mileage of 500 points individually. It is an event where families can enjoy a joyful winter while combining walking activities.

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, a traditional market visit walking event will also be held. Residents who visit and complete verification at Sanggye Jungang Market and Gongneung-dong Dokkaebi Market will receive 500 shopping baskets per market on a first-come, first-served basis. The district expects this to provide richer benefits to residents during the Lunar New Year and serve as an important opportunity to support coexistence with the local commercial district.

The district is creating community sports centers by region to encourage positive habits of daily sports activities and active participation among residents, currently operating various lifestyle sports programs such as ▲swimming ▲equipment Pilates ▲climbing ▲basketball ▲table tennis.
