The prosecution investigating the December 3 emergency martial law incident has extended the detention period for Police Commissioner Jo Ji-ho and Seoul Police Commissioner Kim Bong-sik.

View original imageAccording to the legal community on the 30th, the Prosecution's Special Investigation Headquarters for Emergency Martial Law (headed by Park Se-hyun, Chief Prosecutor of the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office) applied for an extension of the detention period for Commissioners Jo and Kim and received approval from the court.
Accordingly, their detention period, which was until the previous day, has been extended until the 8th of next month.
