Yeoju City to Implement Outdoor Advertising for 2025 Daewangnim-pyo Yeoju Rice on Yeongdong Expressway
The Yeoju Agricultural Industry Joint Brand Activation Center announced on the 30th that it will run an advertisement for ‘Daewangnimpyo Yeoju Rice’ on a large outdoor billboard using a pole structure installed on the downward lane of the Yeongdong Expressway from Seoul to Gangneung.
The front side of the billboard features the phrase ‘Yeoju City, the only rice industry special zone in Korea’ along with the Daewangnimpyo logo, while the opposite side includes the phrase ‘Yeoju, the city of rice gourmet’ and the Daewangnimpyo logo. This is expected to increase awareness and create a positive image of Yeoju rice among expressway travelers.
Mayor Lee Chung-woo of Yeoju said, “The installation of the Yeoju rice billboard was completed on the 26th, and the advertisement will run for one year until 2025. The area near Yeoju IC on the Yeongdong Expressway is known as one of the busiest roads nationwide, so this will be a great opportunity to widely promote Daewangnimpyo Yeoju Rice to Yeongdong Expressway users. We have high expectations.”
