Now in its 16th year, the "Local Councilor Manifesto Promise Awards" is hosted annually by the Korea Manifesto Implementation Headquarters to strengthen the capabilities of local councils and build a foundation of public trust. This year, as in previous years, local councilors nationwide were invited to apply in the areas of pledge implementation and outstanding ordinances, with winners selected through a rigorous review process.
