Jo Incheol Secures 1.1 Billion Won in Special Grants for Local Issues
Creation of Child-Friendly Street at Uncheon Children’s Park, etc.
Jo Incheol, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea representing Gwangju Seo-gu Gap, announced on the 27th that he had secured 1.1 billion KRW in special grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to address key issues in Gwangju Seo-gu.
The special grant projects include 500 million KRW for creating a child-friendly pedestrian street at Uncheon Children's Park, 300 million KRW for renovating outdated facilities at Oweol Children's Park, 100 million KRW for seismic reinforcement of the administrative welfare centers in Sangmu 1-dong and Chipyeong-dong, and 200 million KRW for installing security CCTVs and emergency bells in Yang-dong and Dongcheon-dong.
Since joining the 22nd National Assembly in May, Jo has secured a total of 2 billion KRW in special grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Ministry of Education.
Jo stated, "I have done my best to inspect the field and resolve issues to bring about changes that residents can feel in their daily lives," adding, "I will continue to take the lead in building a better Seo-gu by enhancing resident safety and resolving inconveniences."
